Referral Agreements

Diamond~Massong represents many clients on the basis of association with other attorneys throughout the state and around the country. We are proud of the fact that attorneys confidently refer cases to us or ask us to associate in representing their clients. We carefully review and evaluate potential cases and are willing to do so without cost or obligation to the referring attorney. We have a stellar reputation for achieving substantial settlements and jury verdicts for our clients, and we welcome referrals.

All agreements involving a division of fees are governed by the Washington State Code of Professional Responsibility. In proposing a fee agreement, we consider the nature of the case, its complexity and potential damages, the work already done by the associating attorney, and the likely costs to be advanced. We work out mutually agreeable fee agreements that are fair and consistent with ethical requirements.

For referrals, please call, email, or fill out the case form on our Contact Us page. We value your trust and confidence.

For Attorneys

What attorneys are saying…

“I first met Maria Diamond about 25 years ago when we worked on maritime cases together. Maria is a very meticulous and capable trial lawyer. Not only is she a wonderful person, she is professional and ethical. She has a collegial attitude toward judges, opposing counsel and her team, which is great for everyone. Yet she knows how to handle anyone who gives her a hard time. I’m impressed with the skills she brings to her work.” Howard D. Sacks, Attorney
